I also was fortunate to be a construction vendor for Leland Management one of the Orlando areas largest H.O.A management companies, where for twelve years I did property construction contracts and insurance assessment and renewal contracts. Since Covid-19 in 2020 I have been doing residential and commercial building and structural inspection and continue to do inspection still today. Yes! I encourage all clients to attend their home inspection. I would ask to leave children with family and keep the group size to a minimum so your focus can be on the inspection. Ask questions and learn about you home or construction project.
A Florida state licensed home inspector is the named individual that holds the state license, which is not always the person doing the inspection. Many companies hire inexperience people to work by the hour to do inspections under their license number.

Yes! Within reason, your inspector is a contracted employee of yours and should accommodate you and your schedule. If any inspector refuses to make every effort to accommodate you then you should choose another inspector.
